Gassy The Cow Table Top Game

With Christmas just around the corner, its time to start thinking about table top games for the whole family.

We were lucky to receive Gassy The Cow Table top game from Drumond Park to review. Gassy the Cow is suitable for children aged 4 years plus and retails at £24.99. You can have two to four players, which means if you have one child at school and one at home during the day you will still be able to play!

To play the game everyone gathers round to spin the spinner and the spinner stops on a colour of wellie boot, if that’s your colour you get to walk your boots, up to Gassy’s bottom and wait whilst the first player lifts her tail. If she Moo’s your safe but if she “poo’s” a cow splat will come out of her bottom if its a brown splat that is a poo but if its a yellow splat its a wee or if its a dark brown that’s called a “mega poo” and means your out of the game.

There is a space under the wellie boots to clip all the splats on to and the winner is the person with the cleanest boots.

It is a really easy game to play and I personally feel it would be more suitable for a younger age group, as bear got bored easily but Bell really enjoyed playing it. There were plenty of giggles and laughs from Bell.

The game is also super easy to set up it does require 3xaaa batteries. So its certainly a ideal game to play over the Christmas period.

I personally would of brought this game for a younger child I would say for a confident 2 year old, the packaging is really eye catching and as Bear said the picture is funny.

Where to buy this game?  There are many shops which are stocking “Gassy the cow” the following are Smyth’s toy store, Amazon, Argos and  Toys R Us. So why not pop down to one of these stores to have a Mooing Christmas!

Also check out the Drumond Park Website for more fantastic games!

Crazy Claw By Drumond Park

Entertaining little ones over the winter months can be very hard work, especially when it is pouring down with Rain! . We love baking, craft, playing games  and chilling in front of the TV. Bear and Bell have only just really started to get into table-top games. Which is a good thing especially in the darker and cold months.

When we went shopping just before Christmas to have a look for last minute ideas,  Bear choose the game Crazy Claw, We as a family were lucky enough to be able to review the game over the Christmas holidays

Crazy Claw is a game designed for children aged 4 years plus and is ideal for two -four players. It is based on a arcade style game and is  great fun for both the older and younger generation. The aim of the game is very simple but it’s also  very effective too. The aim of the game is to collect the matching tokens to the matching cards by pounding the paddles to get the coloured balls bouncing, the first one to match all the tokens wins the game. With Bell we changed the game slightly so she could join in and we tried to collect the same colour balls.

To get the balls each player as a go with the claw to get a ball which has a token inside, which is taken out if it matches your Card and then the empty ball goes back in. The game retails at £22.99, to be honest I personally would be happy to pay around £18 for this game if I bought it myself.

The setting up of the game is very simple to do and takes a couple of minutes, which is brilliant for parents and children who are egar to play and especially as it needs to be put up and taken down every time you wish to use it, but as I have said it takes a couple of minutes to do. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow.  We did find the balls a bit fiddly to open, but this could be that they are new or that I can’t even open a Kinder Egg toy tub so that could be the main reason!

You can find where to buy the game by visiting http://www.drumondpark.com/index/index.php

There are also some fab games on the website too!

We have a short video on how easy it is to set up the game over on the YouTube channel.

Merry Christmas

We have had a busy few months. I decided to have my own website for blogging, which is Bellandbear.co.uk. I have reviewed some lovely products by Interplay UK. Bell has tested out some lovely Shampoo by Vosene Kids . We visited Kent Life for their Spooky Halloween Week and we have had some fun bath time ideas too!

My favourite and the hardest post I have written this year is Being a Mum without a Mum. It was very hard to write it took me ages to get the words down. I found after I wrote it I felt happier. I am not going to bombard everyone with stories of being a mum without a mum but it does help others in the same place. Why not have a read?

I will also be writing a Post about Healthy Packed lunch boxes.. The lovely people at Fruit Bowl have sent me some lovely products to include. Bell will enjoy these when she goes back to pre-school.  Why not have a look at their website for more information. Here’s the website!

My Last but not least is reviewing a Sleep Story. We have already started to review this and the review will be on the blog soon! If you don’t know already we have had battles with Bear waking up between 3.30-5am to start the day, We have also had Bell refusing to go to sleep until 8.30/9pm which is most of our evening gone. Why not have a look at their website.

And not forgetting my usual family life blogs  and YouTube Videos in between!

I would love to work with more Brands and companies in 2017. If you are a PR for a company I would love to hear from you!
